Option to hide social feed section
Add an option to hide the social feed section. The story cards and the "For You" page are not wanted: the numbered notification bubble on the main page is distracting, and since the customer does not follow anyone the feed only displays stats from the Trakt staff, which is entirely irrelevant.
Watchlist support for episodes and seasons in V3
The recently completed feature for adding episodes and seasons to lists (https://roadmap.trakt.tv/p/adding-episodes-and-seasons-to-lists-in-v3) does not cover adding episodes and seasons to the watchlist, which is still missing in V3. However, it is still missing the crucial function of adding episodes and seasons to your watchlist. The watchlist needs the same ability to add episodes and seasons, as the originally-requested feature is not fully completed yet and more work is to be done.

Why the hell did you change the way you enter what date you watched a movie for. The new takes way too long. If it ain’t broke don’t fix it.
Bring back VIP ability to force Refresh from data sources.
The link on the left in version 2 allowed VIP members to trigger a refresh of data for a show from its source (usually TMDB). The 2026 version is missing this link. I updated a show yesterday on TMDB, and as it’s a low-traction show, it could take a while for the data to be updated by a routine pull from Trakt. I thought perhaps the TMDB pulls had been sped up, making the Trigger button unnecessary, but it appears not to be the case.
Restore Listed/Not listed filter
Bring back the Listed/Not listed filter now that a lot more filters have been added again.
Sort "Continue Watching" by next episode release date
Currently, when sorting shows by release date on the "Continue Watching" page, it orders them based on the show's original release date. It would be a great feature to sort them by the release date of the upcoming episode instead. This would make tracking crossover shows—like Arrow and The Flash—much easier and far more enjoyable to watch in exact release order.
Restore multi-year stats ranges like 2019-2024
Make it so you can get stats for multiple years Stats for multiple years are no longer available. Up until recently it was possible to get stats for a range such as "2019-2024", but now it is not. Bring that back. Stats are the core of Trakt and the reason for paying for a VIP membership in the first place.
Add seasons to lists in V3 for single-season shows
Add Seasons to Lists in V3 for Shows with a Single Season Manage lists for a season of a show that only has a single season in V3. This includes miniseries, and also shows that will have multiple seasons but only the first season has been released so far. The previous feature request about adding episodes and seasons to lists was marked "Completed" (https://roadmap.trakt.tv/p/adding-episodes-and-seasons-to-lists-in-v3) by the Trakt team yesterday, but this crucial function is still missing, and more work is to be done so the originally-requested feature is fully completed. However, it is still missing the crucial function of managing lists for a season of a show that only has a single season, so this request is to help ensure that the Trakt team doesn't lose sight of the fact that the originally-requested feature isn't fully completed yet.
Bring back sorting
Sorting is a powerful system, I use it to sort by rating when I am on an actor or director page after watching a movie. Now, I can’t sort movies to discover new ones, especially in minor movie countries. If this feature isn’t back at the end of the year, I’ll look for another website and cancel my VIP. This is a shame. This “app” website is a nonsense. Hate it.
Make custom library the default instead of Plex
Ability to Make Custom Library Default not PLex Selecting Movies or Shows defaults to Plex, which most users don't have. The default should be the customer's custom library instead of Plex. The customer adds that this is very frustrating and, as with Collection Viewing, threatens to cancel VIP after being a long time user if it isn't changed. Like I said for Collection Viewing, the customer will cancel VIP, long time user.
Watched - Unknown date
Currently if I select Unknown date - Trakt marks it as watched today. Which isn't great (or else I would select that). The default should be release date.
Bring back numbers and percentages of things.

Sort and filter options for Smart Lists view
Add options to sort and filter the view of Smart Lists. Currently there is no way to sort or filter them: there is an inactive filter button and no sort option at all. All of the smart lists are listed in the order they were created, sorted newest to oldest, so seeing the first couple of smart lists created requires scrolling through 16 (thus far) lists to get to the bottom. Requested sort orders: oldest > newest, newest > oldest, A-Z, Z-A, manual, plus filter options.
Calendar option to hide unstarted watchlisted series episodes
Show watchlisted upcoming series in Calendar without showing unstarted existing series Add a Calendar option that distinguishes between watchlisted shows that haven't premiered yet and existing shows on the Watchlist that haven't been started watching. The ideal Calendar would: Show episodes from series already being watched. Show premieres of upcoming/new series added to the Watchlist so their debuts aren't missed. Hide episodes from existing series added to the Watchlist but not started. For example, adding an upcoming series to the Watchlist before it premieres should make its premiere appear on the Calendar, but adding an older series with multiple seasons to the Watchlist as a someday-watch should not clutter the Calendar with its currently airing episodes before the series has actually been started. The exact implementation could vary: Trakt could distinguish between shows based on whether they have aired their series premiere yet, whether the user has watched any episodes, or another approach that produces this behavior, or just show series (or season) premieres for watchlisted shows in the calendar, or make it a setting. Rationale: a Watchlist represents intent to watch someday, while continue watching / history represents something actively followed. Treating those the same in the Calendar creates noise and makes it hard to track upcoming things that matter, while completely hiding Watchlist items would lose one of the most useful reasons to add an upcoming series to a Watchlist: knowing when something anticipated finally premieres. This would let the Calendar focus on shows actively watched plus upcoming shows being waited for, without filling it with episodes from backlog shows not started.
Calendar-specific filters that persist across sessions and devices
Allow Calendar filters to be set independently and persist Allow the Calendar to have its own filter settings that are independent from filters used elsewhere in Trakt. Right now, filters are intended to be global, which makes it difficult to customize the Calendar without affecting other views. Calendar preferences should also persist when leaving the Calendar and returning later, including across sessions and devices where possible. For example, the Calendar could hide watchlisted shows that haven't been started, while those shows still appear normally in other parts of Trakt. The Calendar serves a different purpose from most other Trakt views — primarily a way to see what's coming up from shows being actively watched, rather than everything expressed interest in — so persistent, Calendar-specific filters would make the Calendar much more useful while avoiding unintended changes elsewhere in Trakt.
Owned media indicator on posters and media pages
Add an indicator on media a user owns, shown on the poster or on the media page itself, similar to the "Watched: 2" indicator. For TV shows it could read "Owned: 100%" or "Owned 218/218", where the percentage / numbers indicate the amount of episodes owned. When browsing other media pages and it's just an icon on the poster, it could be a little book (or whatever icon represents the library) with half filled vs fully filled states, like the check mark icon currently does. Movies are binary, since that's just "do you or do you not have it". Context: the Library function displays every individual episode for shows, is not easy to look at, and currently isn't sortable at all.
Change the default sorting of Continue Watching
The old Trakt had this. I personally prefer having the opposite order to the current default, where the show I watched longest ago appears first, which allows for you to cycle through your shows better imo.
Display "Where to Watch" when hovering over posters
It would be nice if you could preview where to stream on hover, like you could in v2. Currently, you have to go into each item to find that info.
Setting to show movie series in "continue watching
Add a setting that lets movie series appear in "continue watching", showing the next movie after the one just watched. The customer often starts a series without bingeing it in a few days and then forgets they wanted to finish the series.
