In V2 you could generate RSS and other (iCal, CSV) feeds from multiple pages. Basically the features explained here: https://forums.trakt.tv/t/ical-rss-and-csv-feeds/19093 Personally I used it to generate an up to date RSS-feed of my CONTINUE WATCHING show for example. In V3 this functionality is completely gone. I would like to have this feature back.

Currently for older shows in Continue Watching the remaining number of episodes and duration left is shown, as it should be. However for a new EPISODE or even worse for a new SEASON of a show, it only says NEW, regardless how many NEW episodes are left. This is utterly unhelpful. For example, when there are 8 episodes left, I want to see there are 8 episodes left. Showing me NEW every time I watch one episode, is completely IRRELEVANT information. So please make sure to provide relevant information instead of showing complete non-information. This is not even a technical feature of addition (as it’s already done correctly for older shows), it’s apparantly a design choice that makes absolutely no sense. Just put things like New, Premiere, Finale etc. somewhere else, but DON’T replace the basic functionality that shows you how many episodes are left. This is absolutely Trakt 101 stuff, so it’s kind of strange I should be even making this case, but here we are… Thank you for your consideration!

How can I view my full history of series and movies? There should be a page with this information. There should be filters to view this history - filters such as: the number of days each series or movie was watched, the number of times they were played, and the total hours watched. That way, on this page, I would see a list of all the series and movies I’ve watched, organized in a specific order. I would see the series I watched the most, then the second, the third... down to the last one. The same applies to movies. I would see the one I watched the most, then the second... down to the last one. The key thing is having lists containing this information for all series and movies, rather than just a top 10 or top 20. It’s not just about seeing the numbers, but seeing the cover art for each title as well. The previous version had a similar feature. Thank you for your time

The ability to decide what sections are shown and in what order. For example, I have no interest in recommendations but have to scroll past them everytime to look at history section. I think the ability to hide recommendations (or whatever sections a user wants to) would make the UI more user friendly. And if possible to select the order of sections, such as have history section after continue watching section.

In Trakt v2, users could mark episodes as watched even if their official release date was in the future. Since this functionality was removed in v3, it has caused significant friction for the entire community—both Free users and VIP subscribers alike. Shows and movies frequently premiere early at film festivals, leak, or release on different dates across international regions and streaming platforms. Restricting watch status based on a single hardcoded release date prevents users from keeping an accurate, real-time viewing history. Technically, this feature is still entirely functional under the hood: users can currently inspect the page elements in their browser and manually remove the disabled attribute to successfully mark an item as watched. Tracking watched content is the core purpose of Trakt, not a luxury add-on. This functionality should be restored as a native, accessible option for all users (Free and VIP), rather than relying on browser workarounds.

I like the addition of the percent complete for a season of a show. Would it be possible to also add the percent complete of the show overall. Perhaps instead of Started it could display the overall completion of the show. I also miss being able to see the percent complete of everything in a list. Thank you for the consideration and all of the work going into the new UI!

Will we be able to add a specific season and/or episode to a personal list? Another feature gone from v2 that i really like using. Also, in the Continue Watching section, when I put it in order by release date, why is it not in order by the release date of the episode? It seems to put it in order by the entire show release date.

Sorting is a powerful system, I use it to sort by rating when I am on an actor or director page after watching a movie. Now, I can’t sort movies to discover new ones, especially in minor movie countries. If this feature isn’t back at the end of the year, I’ll look for another website and cancel my VIP. This is a shame. This “app” website is a nonsense. Hate it.

I used Trakt to make chronological lists by episode and then filter by if I have rated them or watched them to see how far I was in the list, all of the functionality that I used Trakt for is gone. I’ll be cancelling my VIP subscription when it expires in a month. The functionality that I used that is now entirely gone: Adding individual episodes to list/Watchlist Showing collected progress of shows Adding things to library collection at all seems to be gone You can view your library, but only individual episodes, so that can have individual episodes on it but not lists I made?? Filtering lists by watch/rated status (why would I want to filter it by the Trakt rating? I am not using this as a social media site, I simply don’t care)

There are a lot of things that used to be visible directly on the movie/actor/director page that aren’t visible anymore, and take multiple clicks to find. Can some of this information be returned to the main page? For example, the last time you watched a show/movie. It’s hidden behind 2 clicks - and if you haven’t scrolled far enough down for the popup, it’s behind 3 clicks because you click - realize you aren’t scrolled far enough down and can’t see the “history” link - scroll down, and click it again. There are other things that used to be right up front that are now hidden behind multiple clicks as well, but nothing comes directly to mind.

Good evening! One of the things I look for on a series' page is the date I last watched specific episodes, so I can plan when to re-watch them. In the current version, it takes too many steps to access this information. On the main series page, I currently have to: Click on "Seasons"; Select the season from the pop-up that opens on the right; Move the cursor until I find the episode; Click on the episode; Click on the three dots in the pop-up; Click on "History." HERE IS MY SUGGESTION: On the main series page, I should be able to: Click on "Seasons"; See the date and time of the last viewing directly on each episode's thumbnail within the pop-up that opens on the right. A good spot for this would be below the episode title. Have the dates and times visible on each thumbnail as I move the cursor. This way, the path to the full history remains the same, but the information regarding the last viewing date is available right after the second click. Attached is an image showing exactly where I suggest placing this information. Thank you for your time.

I forget the term used in V2, but movies that were part of a franchise/series used to have a link on the movie page that would bring you to a page that lists all the movies in the movie franchise (star wars, MCU, etc), and that doesn’t exist in V3. It would be great to get that back.

We would like to restore two key list features: 1. Adding seasons and episodes We would like to bring back the ability to add seasons and episodes to lists, as was possible before. 2. Manage other lists from within a list This is the main reason I stopped using lists. I want to be able to manage a title’s other lists while viewing it inside a list. At the moment, the only available option is to remove the item from the current list, but in many cases we don’t just want to remove it—we also want to add it to other lists. Before Now

For some reason, some TV shows or movies will not show up at all in search results even when spelled perfectly. They just will not show up. Or sometimes, if they do, they’ll be the 16th result, and other similar-but-different titles will come before it. V2 did not have this problem. The search results seem randomly displayed. At least give the option of ordering by release date. Also, fix the bug that makes some TV shows or movies just plain not show up.

Trakt lists all the streaming services where a show can be watched. Sometimes that list is long and sometimes several of the services on the list are services to which I subscribe. My problem is that when I choose to watch a show, I don’t remember which streaming service I watch it on. I end up hunting for the service since only one service has my viewing history. Maybe i missed it but if Trakt would let me choose one of the streaming services as my “Favorite” or just “star” it or some other way to select it and then make that easily visible when I’m looking at an episode of that show, I could easily go to the service on the TV.

Summary: Allow users to exclude specific genres, streaming services, certifications, or tags by introducing negative/exclusion filtering (a "NOT" condition) alongside the current inclusion filters ("IS" condition). The Problem: Currently, filtering in the iOS app only functions as an inclusive selection. If a user wants to browse across a wide variety of content while omitting one or two specific elements (for example, hiding the Horror genre, omitting a streaming service they don't subscribe to, or excluding unrated content), they must manually select every other available option. This makes broad discovery cumbersome and time-consuming. Proposed Solution: Introduce a toggle or multi-state selector within the filter submenus (e.g. Genre, Availability, Certification): First tap: Include (Default green/purple highlight, "IS") Second tap: Exclude (Red highlight with a minus or strikethrough icon, "NOT") Third tap: Reset/Off Alternatively, provide a clear "Include / Exclude" segmented control at the top of filter sub-sheets to define whether selected tags are shown or hidden. Key Use Cases: Browsing all movies or TV shows while strictly excluding Horror. Filtering out specific streaming availability options that aren't relevant. Hiding specific certifications (e.g. excluding NC-17 or R-rated titles for family viewing) without having to manually pick every other rating. Value: Greatly improves discovery flexibility and matches advanced filtering conventions used across media aggregators, making it easier for users to curate their feeds quickly.
