Show guest stars for TV shows
On v3, I have no way to see episode or season guest stars. I would use this daily to help me figure out why someone looks so familiar, or find out what someone new to me has been in and maybe add more of their stuff to my watch list. Currently, only season regulars are shown at every level (show, season, and episode). I would like to see the guest stars row or toggle at the episode level at least. Thanks!
Upgrade the v3 Progress Page
The progress page has been brought back to v3, but it’s missing many essential features and information we loved about it on v2. Actually, there was a nice visual mockup created by Justin that would meet most of these: Here are some user voices regarding the progress page: The Progress page is the one place on the website you can find all of the shows that you’ve ever watched in order, easily see season by season progress, maybe you’re looking into rewatching something of old that you’ve already seen - it’s easily accessible with only a few clicks. The sorting and filtering on the Progress page is also very useful, yes, as is the progress bars and the “Watched percentage”, Time Left To Watch and Total Amount of Shows at the top of the page. It’s all in the details, at least for me. Such a page is a blessing in disguise. The complete absence of the Progress Page, which is my most visited, is absurd because I like seeing more direct details than Up Next provides. I like being able to instantly sort so I can see what’s next, but also then get a quick idea of what has the least time, change the sorts and see views without having to go deep into Settings to change my Up Next for two seconds and then change it back to what I’d like for my Default. Use cases: Recommending a series to a friend Sort by Watched date descending Go over everything I recently finished or am currently watching and see if it matches what they're looking for. Sort by popularity Go over everything I've watched or things I'm keeping my eye on Looking for something to watch Sort by time left ascending When I want something short to binge over the weekend. By having both watchlist items and shows I've already watched, I can either choose to pick up a new series or actually finish something that I dropped before. Sort by most episodes or time left descending Maybe I'm ready for a bigger commitment and want to start chipping away at that series with 12 seasons that I wanted to watch and never got to. Catching up with recent episodes Sort air date descending This way I can quickly catch up with series that are coming back from a hiatus or recently released seasons, even if I haven't watched them recently. Useful to catch series from streaming services that drop whole seasons at a time. Sort by time left Quickly see the most recent episodes of series I'm caught up with. Very useful to keep up to date with series that release episodes weekly.
Episode Count per Season
Trakt v2 used to show the episode count per season. v3 currently doesn’t. There’s even the perfect empty space below the bottom right corner of the poster.
Filters, filters! Filters everywhere!
I’ve seen plenty individual requests for a specific place where people miss filter options. I think we all agree all filter options that once were should come to V3! And when there actually is a filter option somewhere, make sure it works. (Watchlisted shows will not be filtered from Upcoming Schedule whether you flip the switch or not) Fix/Restore all filter options everywhere please. This will save a lot of people a lot of headaches!
List Stats
v2 has these very useful stats for each list, including watched percentage, time to watch, and number of items in the list. I think we also need them in v3.
Bring "Time Left to Watch" into v3
The progress page in v2 conveniently shows total time and total amount of episodes left to watch on shows you’ve started. For me, this has always been an interesting stat. Maybe v3 could reintroduce this stat in the expanded “Continue Watching” view.
RSS-feed
In V2 you could generate RSS and other (iCal, CSV) feeds from multiple pages. Basically the features explained here: https://forums.trakt.tv/t/ical-rss-and-csv-feeds/19093 Personally I used it to generate an up to date RSS-feed of my CONTINUE WATCHING show for example. In V3 this functionality is completely gone. I would like to have this feature back.
Adding Episodes and Seasons to Lists in v3
This action is currently not possible in v3. I don’t see a reason for it. This was an essential feature for timelines, watch orders, tracking how much you've watched on each streaming service in a year, etc. It has a ton of use cases.
Skip an Episode from Up Next
Sometimes you just want to skip an individual episode. We’re thinking about adding an option to skip just one episode right from Up Next. Why it’s useful: Keeps your Up Next clean and relevant Gives you more control over what’s tracked No need to manually mark episodes as watched or jump around
Use Real Dates Instead of Labels in History
I would much prefer real dates instead of ambiguous labels in the history view.

Bring back season pages
I know this was discussed in various threads across other forums and deemed low priority, but please know this is a highly important feature for me. There is currently no way to view individual season watch progress, total runtime, and season specific descriptions.
Indicators for Season Watch Progress on Show Page
On v2 show pages, we have these useful indicators for watch progress of each season: They come in especially handy for anthology shows, where you might watch a show in some artificial order. v3 currently has no equivalent to this that can very quickly give you an overview of your watch progress per season.
Display episode airtime
For some reason this was removed and it’s a vital piece of information that should be displayed. It should be shown in the details section and on the calendar page.
Add statistics to the mobile app
I would like to see the same statistics as the one shown at the top of https://trakt.tv/dashboard but in the Android app. TV: xxxd xh xm watched x,xxx episodes (x,xxx plays of xxx shows) Movies: xxd xh xm watched xxx movies (x,xxx plays) Library: xx,xxx episodes (xxx shows) in library x,xxx movies in library
Rating seasons
Bring back/add the ability to rate seasons (and see that rating) to V3. This is a good feature to have for viewers who watch anthologies, where each season is distinct. It is even more valuable if you are going forward with the limited rating count since it allows some degree of tailoring beyond the show level while significantly reducing a user’s total number of ratings.
Add a vertical UI/UX for the v3 web for desktops
Something much much closer to the current v2 web than the actual v3 web version that is totally useless in a browser on a desktop.
Re-add timestamps to V3 History page
PLEASE add back timestamps (the time an item was watched) to the History page.
Quick Navigation to Previous and Next Episode
Should be there on web and in the apps. Could be implemented with buttons or even keyboard shortcuts.
Bring Custom Order of Lists into v3
The custom order that I've set for lists is not respected in v3 and cannot be edited. I don't want lists that are being updated automatically by some external service to always be displayed on top. I've thoughtfully organized my list order so that I can access my lists efficiently.
Add external links
These were helpful to have especially as someone who frequently uses them to directly go to the TMDB page for an episode to update details. I also realized for some reason the web version has no button to refresh data. Please add this back.
