Add filtering type in Library / Collection

Feature Request

v3 (web and Android mobile apps) should have the same and all the sorting options as the v2 web version.

Sorting is important, specially when we want to choose what to watch in our library.

Please implement at least all the current v2 options such as:

  • All Types

  • Movies

  • Shows

  • Episodes

The only available view is “All Types” on the android app. It’s kind of useless as it is.

When I want to watch something let’s say a movie, I would open the Trakt Android app, go into my “Library”, I should be able to filter or select “Movies” (same as the web v2) so it shows only my movies.

Then with this feature request :

https://roadmap.trakt.tv/p/add-sorting-to-library-collection I would like to choose the sorting, for ex, by “Release date”. Then I can see what I have and decide what I want to watch.

    Just got in the new version and library is unusable at least to me. When you chose movies you get all the movies but you don’t have a filter for watched/unwatched anymore (we used to be able to mask whichever we wanted of them), you don’t have any sorting options (filters are grayed out) and you don’t get any info like how many movies are there. In the tv shows things are even worst as apart from the above you end up with a list of episodes and not actual tv shows so now my library list which used to be something like 750 titles is close to 15.000 episodes and completely useless to me. Also i don’t understand why library defaults to plex and not to custom (classic collection) which is the general library used to feed everything.

    I hope i am missing something because this is a huge step back and completely useless to me.

    On web, you can already filter for movies and shows, but not for episodes. But the media selector could be expanded to feature episodes on the library page.

    No idea why the media selector is gone on the library page in the apps.
