API Tutorial

Would be great if someone did a simple tutorial of how to set up a simple API to get the basics from your collection, lists. Add title episodes to library, etc. Those that are looking to just update their trakt programmatically or with automation versus having to log in a do things manually. Unless there is a better way than API.
