Get Notified When Your Favorite People Drop Something New

Feature Request

Love an actor, director, or writer? We’re thinking about letting you follow them on Trakt — and get notified when they’re in something new.

What this could mean:

  • Stay in the loop when your faves return

  • Discover new releases you might have missed

  • Build a feed that’s more “you”

This kind of thing is also something you should be able to create a smart list for, I think.

We used to be able (on V2) to add actors and directors to a list and track them that way, then in V3, that was removed. We should get that back, that would also allow us to at least check it manually.

Would be nice to be able to favorite actors and/or directors to keep track of things that you watch from them easily

Yeah this would be super cool. Could even allow us to favorite them like we do for shows/movies

I have a list in imdb for this same selection. Its essential for me as I spend time searching new movies or shows my favorite actors or actresses are in.

    Sounds like a good idea!
