Mark items as watched by "other date" without chosing a fitting place

When I want to mark an item as watched by other date, I have first to pick a position where it fits in and then I can set date and time. But why? It’s just an additional

unnecessary click. The correct place in History is chosen by its date and time automatically. I’ve testet it and so far it works correct. When I set an older date and time the item is placed correctly at a lower position.

It would be great if I can directly set date and time without picking a place before.
