This is a critical for me. It’s the main reason I delayed migrating to V3 as long as possible.
WHAT’S EXPECTED: Have an option to enable episode and movie ratings as the ‘mark watched’ option on the Home page ‘Continue Watching’ and ‘Start Watching’ sections. This would advance the show progress, and record a rating at the same time.
CURRENT EXPERIENCE: User must mark an episode or movie watched, ignore a popup to rate the show (confusing for shows, because it’s prompting for the whole show, not the episode just watched), scroll to the History section at the bottom of the Home page, and make the rating there.
WHY IT MATTERS: it reduces the number of clicks to do something simple, many users prefer to track ratings at the episode level instead of whole season or whole show, more thoughtful UI design, eliminates potential misses for folks who want their ratings to be used for recommendations
