Remove the metadata you just added
I don’t want it, I don’t need it, I don’t want to have to select resolutions and formats when I don’t care about them. I just want to add episodes into my collection with as few clicks as possible.

Allowing to set a default value that is always applied to newly added media could also tone down this issue.
I doubt they’re going back to the way it used to be, since they want to prevent people from misusing the library as their watch history (which is a really odd thing to do, but surprisingly, I’ve seen multiple people on the forums doing exactly that).

I echo the request. I don’t need this data, so why ask it of me. If I must have this data attached to my library then at least make it a user setting and allow me to confirm that all my data is digital and at a 1080p resolution (because it is!) and then I can forget about it.

Seconded. This is not information that is useful to me, and it sounds like it’s going to involve a lot of unnecessary clicks.

It does. That on top of the issue where popups randomly disappear just as you’re clicking on them so you end up clicking on the wrong thing and it’s incredibly frustrating trying to add new episodes now. Took me just shy of 4 minutes to add 9 new episodes just now. That should take seconds.
