Vertical scroll for comments

I’m not a fan of the horizontal scrolling basically anywhere on the site/app, but I can just about deal with it. But the horizontal comments scrolling? It's horrendous. I'm at the point where I've stopped reading comments entirely because it's just so uncomfortable to scroll through them that way. It's also not ideal that expanding a comment opens it in a new box. If you insist on keeping horizontal scrolling by default, at least give us the option to use vertical. Save our thumbs.
