Option to hide social feed section
Add an option to hide the social feed section. The story cards and the "For You" page are not wanted: the numbered notification bubble on the main page is distracting, and since the customer does not follow anyone the feed only displays stats from the Trakt staff, which is entirely irrelevant.
Restore vertical episode list layout instead of horizontal scrolling
Vertical alignment for episode lists Bring back a vertically aligned episode list so all episode information is visible at a glance. The current horizontal scrolling layout requires clicking through individual episodes or scrolling endlessly to find what is being looked for. The previous layout displayed the episode title, episode number, and description all in one block, which made browsing episodes much easier, rather than requiring extra clicks and a popup window to get this info. The popup window is best suited for additional information that isn't necessary at a glance.
Watchlist support for episodes and seasons in V3
The recently completed feature for adding episodes and seasons to lists (https://roadmap.trakt.tv/p/adding-episodes-and-seasons-to-lists-in-v3) does not cover adding episodes and seasons to the watchlist, which is still missing in V3. However, it is still missing the crucial function of adding episodes and seasons to your watchlist. The watchlist needs the same ability to add episodes and seasons, as the originally-requested feature is not fully completed yet and more work is to be done.
Restore Listed/Not listed filter
Bring back the Listed/Not listed filter now that a lot more filters have been added again.
Make custom library the default instead of Plex
Ability to Make Custom Library Default not PLex Selecting Movies or Shows defaults to Plex, which most users don't have. The default should be the customer's custom library instead of Plex. The customer adds that this is very frustrating and, as with Collection Viewing, threatens to cancel VIP after being a long time user if it isn't changed. Like I said for Collection Viewing, the customer will cancel VIP, long time user.
Remove watch list limit or raise it for premium users
The watch list has a limit on how many items can be added. Remove the limit, or at least make it an option available to premium users.

Bring back VIP ability to force Refresh from data sources.
The link on the left in version 2 allowed VIP members to trigger a refresh of data for a show from its source (usually TMDB). The 2026 version is missing this link. I updated a show yesterday on TMDB, and as it’s a low-traction show, it could take a while for the data to be updated by a routine pull from Trakt. I thought perhaps the TMDB pulls had been sped up, making the Trigger button unnecessary, but it appears not to be the case.

Why the hell did you change the way you enter what date you watched a movie for. The new takes way too long. If it ain’t broke don’t fix it.
Option to disable seasonal event themes
Add a setting that lets users opt out of seasonal event themes like Halloween and keep the site's default theme during these periods. Seasonal themes can feel distracting and overly busy, and keeping the standard look would make the browsing experience cleaner and more comfortable.

Feature Request: Bringing TV Time's best social features to Trakt (VIP User Feedback)
Hi Trakt Team, First of all, thank you for the amazing platform. I’ve been using Trakt since 2023 and recently became a proud VIP subscriber. With the recent shutdown of TV Time, thousands of users (including myself and a group of 30+ friends who used it since 2012) are looking for a new home. While Trakt is technically superior, many of my friends are abandoning tracking apps altogether because they miss the unique social interaction TV Time had. Since TV Time is no longer active, there are two major features that Trakt could implement to easily capture and retain this massive wave of orphaned users: Character Voting Prompt: In TV Time, right after marking an episode or movie as watched, a quick pop-up would ask: "Who was your favorite character in this episode?" showing their pictures and names. It was incredibly engaging and fostered a great community feeling. Advanced Friend Leaderboards/Rankings: Trakt has a great social tab, but we can only see what friends watched. We would love to see a ranking system within the Friends tab. Instead of just total stats, it would be amazing to have a competitive leaderboard showing who watched the most hours/movies/episodes, filterable by: Weekly, Monthly, Yearly, and All-Time.
No notes in watchlist
There doesn’t seem to be any way to put a private comment on a show in the watchlist. For example, I like to note who told me about the show in addition to a few other personal notes. (not public.) I am new to this app so I am not sure if there might be other lists with the same need.
I miss being able to “rewatch” a show
Watch Again v3 is Awful. I hate the new “watch again” option on TV shows. I miss being able to “rewatch” a show and it shows up in my continue watching so I can mark shows as I watch them. I don't want to mark the entire show as watched again.

Make the tiny "watched" icon on the movie poster on searches a bright contrasting color in the middle of the poster.
The watched icon is small and grey/white and at the bottom where it blends in and is hard to see. Make it massive and purple - which keeps it on brand - or any bright, big contrasting color, and move it into the center of the movie poster. Make it OBVIOUS.
Let me REMOVE items from library
I'm aware of the reasons collection was replaced by library, and although I disagree with the direction of the feature, this is not me trying to debate it. However, I have now been stuck for months with items in my custom library (from when it was still collection) and I literally cannot remove any of those items even though I no longer own some of them. It's driving me mad. What's the point in even allowing and showing the custom library tab if it can't be edited?

Make the tiny "watched" icon on the movie poster on searches bigger and a bright contrasting color
It’s hard to see quickly what has already been watched because the icon is 1. Extremely tiny, and 2. almost the same color as the background. In V2 it was big and purple. It would be great if you’d go back to that.

Hi, where do I find the Refresh Data Button? How do we refresh series and movies when there is an update on TMDB or TVDB?
Changing the sorting default in lists
How can I change the sorting default in lists. I can’t find a button for this. When you edit a list you can only change title and description.
Option to hide elements
With the new desing personally I find the site of movies and series a bit overloaded. I would prefer an option where I can hide boxes like “Sentiment” and “Trivia” and could leave lists like “Actors” folded in by default.
Tooltips
The new desktop look is nice and sleek but it’s not clear what all the new buttons do and icons mean. Can tooltips be added when you hover the cursor over a control feature so it can identify “collected” versus “watched” and other new library management features?
Watchlist Shuffle
I would like the ability to move shows and movies in my watchlist up or down in the list in the order I would like to watch them. Sometimes my mood changes for something different.
Bring back adding individual episodes to lists please!
I am begging the developers to bring back the ability to add individual episodes to lists. That was one of the best features before the update and the entire reason I switched to the VIP membership! I like to add episodes for Holidays! Also why they remove the feature of total number of plays? I also loved that. Pleaseeeeee being these back!! Otherwise what distinguishes this tracking app from others?
