No notes in watchlist

There doesn’t seem to be any way to put a private comment on a show in the watchlist. For example, I like to note who told me about the show in addition to a few other personal notes. (not public.) I am new to this app so I am not sure if there might be other lists with the same need.

Plz create MCPs integration so that AI chatbots can connect and access our trakt data. Such as gemini connectors to have trakt Or grok connectors to have trakt access. Integrating with AI is the upmost priority for all platforms!

Feature Request: Bringing TV Time's best social features to Trakt (VIP User Feedback)

Hi Trakt Team, First of all, thank you for the amazing platform. I’ve been using Trakt since 2023 and recently became a proud VIP subscriber. With the recent shutdown of TV Time, thousands of users (including myself and a group of 30+ friends who used it since 2012) are looking for a new home. While Trakt is technically superior, many of my friends are abandoning tracking apps altogether because they miss the unique social interaction TV Time had. Since TV Time is no longer active, there are two major features that Trakt could implement to easily capture and retain this massive wave of orphaned users: Character Voting Prompt: In TV Time, right after marking an episode or movie as watched, a quick pop-up would ask: "Who was your favorite character in this episode?" showing their pictures and names. It was incredibly engaging and fostered a great community feeling. Advanced Friend Leaderboards/Rankings: Trakt has a great social tab, but we can only see what friends watched. We would love to see a ranking system within the Friends tab. Instead of just total stats, it would be amazing to have a competitive leaderboard showing who watched the most hours/movies/episodes, filterable by: Weekly, Monthly, Yearly, and All-Time.

I miss being able to “rewatch” a show

Watch Again v3 is Awful. I hate the new “watch again” option on TV shows. I miss being able to “rewatch” a show and it shows up in my continue watching so I can mark shows as I watch them. I don't want to mark the entire show as watched again.

Add owned service link (e.g. Plex) to Where to watch on mobile and browser

In the "Where to watch" section, add a link to where the user owns the media, i.e. Plex. This already works decently on the TV app and should also be available on mobile and browser.

Bring back v2 profile page

V2 profile tab is much more informative than v3 , ait has the personal stats/overall stats , Most watched movie / series and most watched generes , overall ratings and many more. Please add all these missing features which are essential.

History Page

Please bring back being able to sort by show or episode on the watched page. I do not care for the new layout.

Bring back calendar feeds

Everything is in the title. It was a very useful feature to be able to see upcoming shows in any calendar. I really liked that and I’m quite astounded that it was removed going to V3. Please, bring it back.

Bring Back Old Library View

The prior site let you view you TV library by show. It would show you each TV show once, and it let you expand out to see episodes in your collection. This was useful for finding episodes that may not be in your library. Please bring this back.

Restore access to Trakt Classic for VIP members

Disappointed VIP Member Restore access to Trakt Classic for VIP members, or at the very least provide an option to choose between the classic and new interfaces. The latest interface update made the experience significantly worse: the layout feels less intuitive, navigating the site is more frustrating, and features and information that were easy to access before now feel unnecessarily complicated. Accessing Trakt Classic directly consistently redirects to the new version, so paying VIP subscribers can no longer use the classic interface they were comfortable with. The customer is a loyal Trakt user who genuinely loves the platform and everything it offers for tracking movies and TV shows, and wants Trakt to succeed. Paying subscribers should feel that their loyalty and feedback matter; an update should improve the user experience, not make a beloved platform more difficult to use. Giving users the choice between interfaces would demonstrate respect for the community that has supported Trakt over the years.

Bring back adding individual episodes to lists please!

I am begging the developers to bring back the ability to add individual episodes to lists. That was one of the best features before the update and the entire reason I switched to the VIP membership! I like to add episodes for Holidays! Also why they remove the feature of total number of plays? I also loved that. Pleaseeeeee being these back!! Otherwise what distinguishes this tracking app from others?

Make the tiny "watched" icon on the movie poster on searches a bright contrasting color in the middle of the poster.

The watched icon is small and grey/white and at the bottom where it blends in and is hard to see. Make it massive and purple - which keeps it on brand - or any bright, big contrasting color, and move it into the center of the movie poster. Make it OBVIOUS.
