View full history

How can I view my full history of series and movies? There should be a page with this information. There should be filters to view this history - filters such as: the number of days each series or movie was watched, the number of times they were played, and the total hours watched. That way, on this page, I would see a list of all the series and movies I’ve watched, organized in a specific order. I would see the series I watched the most, then the second, the third... down to the last one. The same applies to movies. I would see the one I watched the most, then the second... down to the last one. The key thing is having lists containing this information for all series and movies, rather than just a top 10 or top 20. It’s not just about seeing the numbers, but seeing the cover art for each title as well. The previous version had a similar feature. Thank you for your time

Total time to rewatch the seasons

Good afternoon! When I open a series' page, I can't find the total runtime for each season. I found the series' total runtime by clicking the ( i ) icon, but I also want to know the runtime for each individual season. I know this duration is displayed for seasons that haven't been watched yet, but it doesn't appear for series I'm rewatching. While this information can remain visible for new series and seasons, I have a suggestion on how to display it for those rewatching seasons as well. HERE IS MY SUGGESTION: When clicking "Seasons" on the main page and the pop-up appears, the TOTAL SEASON RUNTIME could be displayed in one of the following tabs: In the > EPISODES tab, next to "Episodes" and below the progress bar. In the ( i ) INFORMATION tab, next to "Overview" and above "Rate." I have attached two images showing exactly where I suggest placing this information. It can be on any of these tabs. I use the browser on my computer 99% of the time. Thank you for your time.

Date and time of last view

Good evening! One of the things I look for on a series' page is the date I last watched specific episodes, so I can plan when to re-watch them. In the current version, it takes too many steps to access this information. On the main series page, I currently have to: Click on "Seasons"; Select the season from the pop-up that opens on the right; Move the cursor until I find the episode; Click on the episode; Click on the three dots in the pop-up; Click on "History." HERE IS MY SUGGESTION: On the main series page, I should be able to: Click on "Seasons"; See the date and time of the last viewing directly on each episode's thumbnail within the pop-up that opens on the right. A good spot for this would be below the episode title. Have the dates and times visible on each thumbnail as I move the cursor. This way, the path to the full history remains the same, but the information regarding the last viewing date is available right after the second click. Attached is an image showing exactly where I suggest placing this information. Thank you for your time.

I need this.

I’d love to see some improvements to discovery, recommendations, and social features. The Recommended section should automatically exclude shows I’ve already watched, even if I’ve only watched part of them. If I already know a show, it shouldn’t keep being recommended. It would also be useful to have simple options like “Not interested” or “Don’t recommend again.” Search and discovery could also use better filters, especially options to hide shows I’ve completed or watched at least one episode of, so I can focus entirely on discovering new content. Better sorting by popularity, number of ratings, Trakt score, IMDb, Rotten Tomatoes, etc. would also help. I’d also like to see a stronger social/community side. Trakt could recommend people to follow based on similar viewing histories, ratings, favorite shows, and interests — and recommend my profile to similar users as well. This could make it much easier to discover content through other people and actually interact with users who have similar tastes. Finally, I really like the Lists feature and use it a lot for discovery. It would be great to have more curated lists, especially deeper recommendations such as underrated shows, hidden gems, lesser-known series, and selections aimed at people who already watch a lot of TV. Overall, I’d like Trakt to become better at understanding what I’ve already seen and use that information to help me discover new shows and people with similar tastes, rather than repeatedly showing me content I already know.

In Continue Watching ALWAYS show number of episodes and duration left

Currently for older shows in Continue Watching the remaining number of episodes and duration left is shown, as it should be. However for a new EPISODE or even worse for a new SEASON of a show, it only says NEW, regardless how many NEW episodes are left. This is utterly unhelpful. For example, when there are 8 episodes left, I want to see there are 8 episodes left. Showing me NEW every time I watch one episode, is completely IRRELEVANT information. So please make sure to provide relevant information instead of showing complete non-information. This is not even a technical feature of addition (as it’s already done correctly for older shows), it’s apparantly a design choice that makes absolutely no sense. Just put things like New, Premiere, Finale etc. somewhere else, but DON’T replace the basic functionality that shows you how many episodes are left. This is absolutely Trakt 101 stuff, so it’s kind of strange I should be even making this case, but here we are… Thank you for your consideration!
